More wonderful wildlife photos from neighbor David Cohen. He writes:
Forest Hills Connection has highlighted the glories of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens several times, most recently in a wonderful July 2015 post by Marlene Berlin. These posts appropriately urge people to relish the peak blooming season over the summer.
As we head into fall, though, I’d like to suggest that the wonders of the Gardens continue through the year – and if you want a moment of beauty or solitude, it’s hard to beat the off-season.
These photos come from September 4, when the only other humans at the Gardens were the park rangers. The birds include a blue heron, a female red-winged blackbird (in brown among the cattails), a male red-winged blackbird living up to its name, and robins.
