Our first Forest Hills Art Walk in 2014 featured three locally-based artists. This year, eleven neighborhood artists are opening their homes, businesses and studios to the community for the Forest Hills Art Walk this Sunday, May 15th. (Find details and ticket purchase information here.)
Franklin Montessori is hosting an open house during the morning session. On display: the work of some of the preschool’s very young students and the preschool’s outstanding art teachers.
Audrey Sayer
Sayer (audreysayer.com) is a native of Nebraska and a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she received her BFA in Studio Art. She has been the art teacher at Franklin since 2010. She considers herself primarily an abstract painter, interested mainly in color and composition.
Isabel Moffly
Moffly (isabelmoffly.com) is a recent graduate of the University of Richmond. She is the newest addition to the art staff at Franklin. She primarily works in pen and ink and watercolor.
