ANC 3F wasn’t planning to meet in December. But a couple of liquor license applications require our commissioners’ attention and they have scheduled a special meeting on Thursday, December 14th at 6 p.m., at the Van Ness Main Street office (4340 Connecticut Avenue, next door to Acacia Bistro).
Soapstone Market is seeking to renew its liquor license. And filing a new application is Winovisor, a small, internet-only wine retailer leasing space from Domaine Wine Storage at 4221 Connecticut Avenue. (Read more about the former Rolls Royce dealership that was transformed into self-storage for your wine collection.)
ANC 3F Acting Chair Pat Jakopcheck notes that this is will be a very quick meeting, held for the sole purpose of passing these two resolutions because of “both applications having hearing dates that will occur before our next regularly scheduled meeting in January.” There will be no other announcements or agenda items.
At 6:30 p.m., at the same location, ANC 3F03 Commissioner Naomi Rutenberg is hosting a community meeting about the 3101 Albemarle developers’ application for zoning relief. Read more about it here.
Here’s ANC 3F’s agenda for the special meeting.
