ANC 3F’s meeting next Tuesday, November 17th will address upcoming changes in the neighborhood as well as efforts to preserve some of the history and natural beauty of the area.
The draft agenda indicates ANC 3F expects to devote an hour to Chick-fil-A’s plans to replace the Burger King at 4422 Connecticut Avenue. The CEO of the Washington Home will also address the commission about the property’s sale to Sidwell Friends. In addition, Friends of Peirce Mill, the group that led the mill’s restoration, is seeking a grant. And commission will hear about plans to expand the Rock Creek Valley historic district.
