The two candidates running for the seat are Shirley Adelstein (read her statement) and David Donaldson (here’s his statement).
Both candidates introduced themselves at recent ANC meetings. Here’s Donaldson:

What does an ANC do? In 3F, quite a bit. Our commissioners have been active in promoting our neighborhood to new businesses (Bread Furst is just the tip of the iceberg), addressing community concerns about big projects such as Park Van Ness and the Van Ness elevator replacement, and ensuring the national park in our backyard is protected (Speaking of which, commissioner Pat Jakopchek wants to start an ANC Soapstone Committee. Email him if you’re interested).
