David Bardin took these photos yesterday of the Park Van Ness project at 4455 Connecticut. Much has changed in the past few months, but there’s one rather large item now missing from the site.
Now, here’s one of David’s photos from May. Can you see the difference?
The earthen ramp at the far (north) end is now gone. You can see it in another of David’s photos from July:
David says Clark Construction has been using the tower crane to remove the ramp, one enormous bucket at a time. Construction managers also told him that another crane will be brought in to haul trucks and backhoes out of the hole. Watch out for that on or after September 20th.
