The BODYWISE program is administered by the Institute of Gerontology, which is part of the UDC College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability, and Environmental Studies (CAUSES), and funded by the DC Office of Aging.
It offers low-impact aerobics classes and yoga in the new fitness room at the UDC Student Center, and water aerobics at the Wilson Aquatic Center and the UDC pool. Again, all classes are for those of us aged 60 and older, and they are free of charge.
All you need to do is sign up using these forms. They include a medical release that your physician needs to sign. The photograph and video permission form is optional. You can the scan and email forms to firstname.lastname@example.org or mail them to:
