A goal of the stream daylighting at the intersection of Fessenden Street and Broad Branch Terrace, NW, formally opened last October, was to encourage flora and fauna. I think these photos… show the project is meeting the goal. The bird, according to the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology, is a juvenile American robin.
