Broad Branch Stream restoration celebration and volunteer event

October 13, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join Rock Creek Conservancy for a special celebration and stewardship activity in Broad Branch, the site of our 2017 restoration effort to introduce more native plant species to the area.

This past summer, Rock Creek Conservancy and ANC 3F supported a Restoration Maintenance Intern who worked in Broad Branch to water trees and remove invasive plants. Join us on October 13 to celebrate this work. Those interested in contributing to this cause can check out what has been happening in Broad Branch since the plantings, and learn how you can help support the area moving forward. Tours of the site will be provided!
