Forum: “Job Creation to Address Income Inequality and Reinvigorate Our Communities.”

Civil rights and social justice “lion” Congressman John Conyers will describe his bill, HR-1000 “To establish the National Full Employment Trust Fund to Create Employment Opportunities for the Unemployed.”

Rep Conyers’ panel, beginning at 3 pm, will be moderated by Garland Nixon of WPFW, the Washington, DC Pacifica Radio affiliate. School of Law Dean Shelley Broderick will provide a welcome, and WPFW’s Gloria Minot will introduce the first Panel.

This Forum is the first of a series planned with a consortium of public interest organizations including MoveOn–Montgomery County, Progressive Maryland, National Organization for Women-Maryland, the New Americas Time Project and the Chesapeake Sustainable Business Council.
