English Ivy Removal @ Melvin Hazen Park East

Join National Park Service, Rock Creek Conservancy, and Weed Warrior Rena Subotnik for a socially-distant outdoor invasive removal event in the Melvin Hazen East section of Rock Creek Park.

Volunteers may only participate if they have registered. The event leader will not accept “walk-ups” or last minute additions due to health and safety reasons. They will meet at the end of Quebec St. NW where the Melvin Hazen Trailhead begins (just past 2801 Quebec Street NW).

Volunteers must wear a mask for the duration of the event and follow all CDC and city guidelines regarding social distancing and public health precautions.
