An event every month that begins at 7:30 pm on day First of the month, repeating until November 5, 2022

Exploring the Sky is a joint public observing program between the National Capital Astronomers and the National Park Service. They supply the telescopes and you supply the eyes!

Meet in the field near Picnic Grove #13.

September 3, 8:00pm: 56% Moon; Planets Saturn and Jupiter; Globular Clusters M22, M4, Open Clusters M44 and M45
October 7, 7:30pm: 96% Moon; Planets Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter; Globular Clusters, Open Clusters M44 and M45
November 5, 7:00pm: 94% Moon; Planets Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn; Globular Clusters M13, M3, M15, M92, and M2;, Open Clusters M44 and M45

This program will be cancelled in the event of cloud cover or inclement weather.
