Holiday Pop-up Concerts at Politics & Prose

Politics and Prose is parterning with Washington Performing Arts to present a series of pop-up concerts in store. These family-friendly performances are free and open to the public on several afternoons during the December shopping season. The featured performers work and live in the DC area and represent a variety of musical traditions, including Latin, classical, Gospel, a cappella, and more. They were drawn from a WPA series, “The World in Our City,” which is part of WPA’s Mars Urban Arts Initiative that promotes local artists through performances and other activities.
