International Migratory Bird Day Festival – Rock Creek Nature Center

Why are birds important? What birds live in and/or migrate through Rock Creek Park in spring? What makes a bird a bird? Learn the answers to these questions and more during the second annual International Migratory Bird Day Festival.
Sponsored by Rock Creek Park and the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center, activities will include children’s arts ‘n’ crafts, guided bird walks for advanced and beginning birders, live birds of prey demonstrations, park partner info booths, and more. All are welcome.
