Invasives Removal @ Melvin Hazen West

Join Rock Creek Conservancy and National Park Service as they continue restoration work in Melvin Hazen West, one of five “mini-oases” in Rock Creek Park. These areas have been strategically chosen because they are important to the health of Rock Creek and they are important to the communities that live near them.
Invasive species are among the biggest threats to this urban park. Volunteers will help remove invasive plant species and keep this section of Rock Creek healthy.
