“Fourteenth Street has become one of the liveliest, most interesting places in DC, helping to bring – at long last – nighttime excitement to our city!” Mr. Luria commented. “On this photo safari we will help you capture that excitement in your camera.”

The $79 photo safari begins just before sunset with an orientation by Mr. Luria on nighttime photography . Photographers with any camera will then be instructed on how to shoot at the onset of civil twilight to get that nice deep blue sky effect, using very slow shutter speeds in Manual Mode and adjusted white balance to create streaks of light from the moving cars and buses. Registration for the safari is available at http://washingtonphotosafari.com/calendar/event/03/13/15/11388

E. David Luria is a professional architectural photographer, founder and director of the Washington Photo Safari, who has photographed hundreds of apartment buildings, hotels and restaurants in the DC area over the past 18 years and has directed the training of over 31,000 amateur photographers since 1999.
