Virtual ‘Stream Team Leader’ Training – Part 1

Stream Team Leaders are a cadre of dedicated volunteers that work with the Conservancy to host their own trash cleanups and increase stewardship actions within their communities and throughout the Rock Creek watershed.

Join Rock Creek Conservancy virtual training, which will prepare you to become a Stream Team Leader and lead Extreme Cleanup events.

You will obtain event-leading skills, learn a few things about the impact of trash and stormwater pollution on our creek, and gather helpful information from seasoned leaders in the field. Register for both training sessions:

Part 1 (Tuesday, July 28 from 6pm to 7:30pm – REGISTER HERE) of our virtual summer Stream Team Leader training will cover Rock Creek background, stewardship expectations, and event basics.

Part 2 (Saturday, August 1 from 10am to 12pm – REGISTER HERE) of our virtual summer Stream Team Leader training will cover responsible recreation and community leadership.
