Walk to School Day

International Walk to School Day is a one-day event aimed at building awareness for the need for walkable communities. There are many reasons to celebrate — safer and more accessible streets, healthier habits, and cleaner air to name just a few.
Is your school planning an event? Register the event at walkbiketoschool.org to get counted. Schools that register events by October 3rd will receive temporary tattoos from DDOT to hand out to student participants.
