Three months ago, the 27th Street bridge at Broad Branch Road closed for a major overhaul – it was torn down and replaced. The bridge reopened after a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, October 19th.
The old bridge closed on Monday July 20th. The new bridge has an addition – a new sidewalk, which can be seen in the photo.

I WOULD LIKE TO CONTACT THE CONTRACTOR THAT DID THIS WORK TO GET DETAILS ABOUT THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE BRIDGE SYSTEM THAT WAS USED. THANK YOU FOR ANY INFORMATION YOU MIGHT HAVE.
