Acacia Bistro resumes summer grill nights, makes Thrillist Metro map of burger joints

June 3, 2015

The grill nights at Acacia Bistro (4340 Connecticut) last summer were so popular, the restaurant is going to fire up the grill every Wednesday evening this summer, starting today at 4:30 p.m.

Everything from the salads to the entrees to the sides will come from the grill. Even one of the desserts on offer – crème brulèe – is touched by flame.

And a new Metro map from Thrillist.com is for anyone who needs a burger. Like, right now.

Acacia is the site’s pick for Van Ness. Thrillist says: “Each featured restaurant serves at least one sumptuous burger for lunch and/or dinner and is within 1.5mi of the stop (but usually much, much closer).”

I like the place well enough but, to be fair, there isn’t a lot of competition for burgers in the ‘nabe.
