In February, the director of the volunteer-run NW Community Food pantry told ANC 3F that it was in search of a new home because its UDC-donated space at 4225 Connecticut Avenue will be put to another use. ANC 3F’s April agenda (below) includes an update during the community forum portion of the meeting.
Among the other agenda items:
– A DDOT presentation on developing a new Safe Routes to School action plan for Murch Elementary. A previous plan (and its award-winning implementation) for Murch included adding sidewalks to streets that had none, which is still a work in progress on some blocks.
– Mr. Green, a medical cannabis dispensary at 4302 Connecticut Avenue is applying for a delivery endorsement from ABCA.
– Canna Art (5008 Connecticut), which last year attempted to open a marijuana “gifting” shop during an ABCA crackdown, is applying for a medical dispensary license, including delivery.
The commissioners will also vote on a resolution following up on some unfinished and unaddressed maintenance and trash issues at Forest Hills Park.
