ANC 3F Feb. 18 agenda: Council member Frumin and community food pantry updates

February 13, 2025

The ANC 3F roster in the 2025-2026 term.
On the left: Amy Rofman of 3F01, Sue Guzman of 3F02, and Mitch Baer of 3F03.
On the right: Claudette David of 3F04, Adrian Iglesias of 3F05, and Courtney Carlson of 3F06.

Ward 3 Council member Matt Frumin is attending ANC 3F’s meeting on Tuesday, February 18th to talk about the 2025 legislative session and his committee assignments, including chair of the Human Services Committee.

The Zoom meeting starts at 7 p.m., and according to the agenda below, Frumin’s estimated start time is 7:25.

Also on the agenda: A cofounder of the NW Community Food Pantry. When we last checked in with them in 2023, the pantry was distributing cleaning supplies and groceries to 200 households every week. The line we see forming at the 4225 Connecticut Avenue each Sunday indicates the need has not lessened in that time.

There’s more, of course, and if your “need to know” includes wanting to be the first to know, you’ll want to tune in. The January meeting was packed with news, including the demise of a plan to make part of Davenport a one-way street, the extended Albemarle street closure east of Connecticut Avenue, the need for more school crossing guards, and Forest Hills Park upkeep issues.
