ANC 3F January 15 agenda: Expanding a Metro subsidy for college students; City Ridge update

The District’s undergraduate students don’t ride Metrobus and Metrorail for free. But they are paying the equivalent of a dollar a day for unlimited rides in our transit system. The subsidies are for full-time students only, though part-time and graduate students at participating schools also pay the $135-per-semester fee. WMATA is considering opening up its U-Pass program to the part-timers, and ANC 3F commissioners will discuss the subject at their January 15th meeting.

The draft agenda below also includes an update on the City Ridge development at the former Wisconsin Avenue Fannie Mae site.
