We’re still writing up the news from ANC 3F’s February meeting (coming soon!) and already, the March meeting is almost upon us.
The March 10th hybrid meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Forest Hills of DC Senior Living (4901 Connecticut Avenue) and on Zoom.
The commissioners intend to vote on a resolution concerning Reno Road, which has few safe pedestrian crossings. Neighbors placed “See Me” flags at the Warren Street intersection last year. They were partially funded by ANC 3F, and the Yuma Street crossing is getting flags, too.
But the commission sees the bright-colored flags as a temporary measure. Its resolution presses the District for more permanent solutions.
“ANC 3F formally calls upon the District Department of Transportation to promptly initiate and complete the promised FY26 Reno Road corridor study,” the resolution says, and “requests that DDOT provide a public timeline for the Reno Road corridor study and interim safety measures to address current conditions.”
