ANC 3F March agenda: Council’s Grosso on education; Thai Pad alcohol permit

ANC 3FDC Council member David Grosso is a featured speaker at ANC 3F’s March meeting. Grosso now chairs the Council’s Committee on Education. He’s to speak about his education priorities, which include family and public engagement, “smart” evaluation of progress, and school discipline.

Our commissioners will also consider Thai Pad’s application to serve alcohol. The restaurant is moving into the former Quizno’s space at 4481-B Connecticut.

ANC 3F will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17th, at Forest Hills of DC (4901 Connecticut). The meeting will be livestreamed and archived for playback at livestream.anc3f.us.

Announcements/Open Forum – Opportunity for members of the community to raise issues of concern or importance to the 3F neighborhood.

Discussion and possible motion regarding an application by Thai Pad at 4481-B Connecticut Ave. NW to serve alcohol at the establishment. (15 minutes)

Discussion regarding application for a Zoning Special Exception at 3629 Everett St. NW.

Motion to send a letter of support to the DC Department of Parks and Recreation’s permit office for the Capital Memorial Church of Seventh Day Adventists located at 3150 Chesapeake Street NW to hold a community fun day on the afternoon of June 14, 2015. (10 minutes)
