The Albemarle Street closure, now four months old, has brought “unexpected joys” to neighbors who live to the east of the DC Water project site. Last fall, they even threw a block party.
They can probably squeeze in a springtime block party too. The street closure, for the final phase of the DC Water Soapstone sewer project, is likely to stretch into spring.
That was the timeline suggested by DC Water’s last update on December 16th. Its next update: at ANC 3F’s meeting tonight. The meeting starts at 7 p.m., and here’s the Zoom link.
Also on the agenda (below): DDOT’s proposed changes on Davenport – including making it a one-way street and adding a pedestrian path between Linnean Avenue and Broad Branch Road.
New year, new ANC 3F. In case you missed it, the six commissioners, two of them new to the advisory neighborhood commission, were sworn in for their two-year term on January 2nd.
