ANC 3F Sept. 15 agenda: Bread Furst alcohol sales; UDC Campus Master Plan; meet the ANC candidates (Updated)

September 11, 2020 by FHC Leave a Comment

The advisory neighborhood commission serving Van Ness, North Cleveland Park, Forest Hills and Wakefield will be hearing this Tuesday about Bread Furst’s new plans to serve alcohol to customers. UDC will formally present its concept for the Campus Master Plan to ANC 3F. And candidates running for the ANC’s seven seats will be invited to introduce themselves to the community.

(Note: Forest Hills Connection will publish ANC 3F candidate statements in early October. If you’re on the ballot and you haven’t heard from us, or you are planning to run as a write-in candidate, email us at info@foresthillsconnection.com.)

As of Friday, September 11 there’s an addition to the agenda: The board of the Essex condos at 4740 Connecticut Avenue will give an update on an HVAC project that will eliminate the need for the temporary chiller that’s been parked at the back of the building for two summers. Residents in the Essex and neighbors in homes on Davenport and Cumberland Streets have long complained about the noise. The Essex board is seeking the ANC’s support for the permit making its way through DCRA.

The rest of the draft agenda and Zoom link to the September 15th meeting are below. And for those curious about the Shared Pour item on the consent agenda, a number of internet wine sellers store their merchandise at a former Rolls Royce dealership at 4221 Connecticut Avenue.
