ANC 3F votes to replace rolling grants with 2x/year schedule

October 4, 2016

anc-grants

Neighborhood groups seeking grants from ANC 3F will be limited to applying twice per year, starting next year.

ANC 3F passed a resolution at its September meeting that changes its grants policy from a rolling process that accepts applications throughout the year. As of January 1, 2017, the commission will accept grants at March meetings for consideration in April, and at September meetings for consideration in October.

They have done this to lighten the workload for ANC commissioners on the grants committee and better budget for grants. Special projects that the ANC funds directly will be considered throughout the year. As of the minutes of its April meeting (the most recent available on ANC3F.com), ANC 3F had a balance in its account of $109,979.00.

ANC 3F will continue to use the rolling process between now and the end of the year. Information about ANC grants can be found at ANC3F.com/grants.
