Only two weeks after their June meeting, the commissioners of ANC 3F are returning to Zoom on July 14 for their final meeting of the summer.
One of note in the draft agenda below is an appearance by a land use attorney for Ingleside at Rock Creek. The senior living community at 31st Street NW and Military Road completed an extensive expansion project in 2020, adding “a 240,000 square foot independent living and assisted living tower, a 98,000 square foot health center, and a connector building with conference and administrative space,” according to its builder. The project’s architect posted an overhead view of the campus location and layout.
And of note in the world of advisory neighborhood commissions, it is election season! To qualify for the November 3 ballot, candidates need to collect the signatures of at least 25 registered voters in their single member districts. The deadline to turn in ballot petitions and other associated paperwork is August 5.
Here’s what we wrote in 2024 about the position and the election process.
