Calling all makers! There’s a market for your handcrafted goods – and it’s the UDC farmers market, which reopens for the season on May 20th.
Van Ness Main Street is partnering with the University of the District of Columbia for this year’s market, and it’s accepting applications from vendors who will display and sell their goods alongside the farmers’ stands.
From VNMS: “We are looking for local art and artisan vendors who personally make and/or design their own handcrafted, handmade goods that are independently distributed and sold. The application deadline is March 31, 2017. The fee to participate throughout the season is $150. The Farmers Market is on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning on May 20, 2017 and runs through November 25. Vendors do not have to vend every weekend.”
To request a copy of the application, email [email protected] or call 240-462-9664.
Van Ness Main Street attracted top-notch vendors to its pop-up holiday market last December, so we are excited to see who will be selling their wares at the farmers market this year.
