The National Park Service at Rock Creek is still considering its options for a renovation and modernization at the complex including the Nature Center at 5200 Glover Road NW and the Horse Center nearby. When we last heard from NPS about this project in late 2017, a public comment period on three alternatives was under way.
Now that the environmental assessment is complete, the public has the opportunity to weigh in again. The page where you can leave an online comment as well as documents containing more information about the alternatives and the environmental impact are linked here.
