Saturday, May 15th from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Washington Photo Safari founder E. David Luria is leading a food photography class at Acacia Food and Wine. And once his students learn to photograph each of the three courses to be served, they get to eat it. The class is $99. Half of the proceeds will benefit Van Ness Main Street. The other half pays for the meal.

Sunday, May 16th from 1 to 4 p.m.

It’s National Small Business Month, and on this day we will be invited to celebrate the Heart of Van Ness Main Street with food and drink specials from participating businesses, plus enjoy a selfie scavenger hunt, sidewalk chalk art, the Spring NOW plantings, a Barks & Brews patio pop-up, and more. More details to come.
