The conversation continues about Broad Branch Road rehabilitation. Late last year, the Washington Post and some readers weighed in.
And more recently, Neil Flanagan, a grown-up Murch kid and blogger for GreaterGreaterWashington.org and tsarchitect.nsflanagan.net, pondered the trade-offs that adding a sidewalk and bike lane would require.
He notes that most of the opposition to the project is due to tree loss, but he argues that “we are literally missing the forest for the trees.”
