Music at the Market: Here’s the list of performers Saturdays at the UDC farmers market

Van Ness Main Street hosts Jazz@VN on the last Thursday of each month at neighborhood stores and restaurants. And almost every week, it is bringing an eclectic and talented lineup of performers to the UDC farmers market. There’s a harpist performing one Saturday in October – and a honky tonk band the next!

Sept. 9 – Alan MacEwen American Traditional Music

Oct. 7 – Flamenco con Magdalena Flamenco & Spanish Music & Dance
Oct. 21 – Amadou Kouyate Solo Kora (traditional 21-string harp)

Nov. 18 – Jack Kilby & The Front Line Jazz Combo

The UDC farmers market is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. All performances are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the UDC Law School at 4340 Connecticut Avenue.
