Casey Tree has updated its interactive map of flowering trees all over the District.
Zoom in to get a neighborhood by neighborhood, street by street, tree by tree look.
Cherry trees do seem to dominate. There’s an impressive lineup of Kwanzan cherry trees lining 30th Place NW. But other flowering trees are well represented. Linden trees encircle Forest Hills Playground. Tulip trees, magnolias and redbuds also seem popular in this part of the District. Pear trees make an occasional appearance.
Zoom in, zoom out, then head outside to see for yourself before they’re gone!
