Compilation: Holiday specials and hours at Van Ness/Forest Hills businesses

The holidays mean specials and reduced hours at some local businesses. Here’s a compilation. (And if you have details and updates on more, please contact us at [email protected].)

Sfoglina has special Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve menus. See sfoglinadc.com/menus and select “Holidays.”

Little Red Fox has special holiday menu beginning at 3 p.m. December 23rd and all day Christmas Eve. See littleredfoxdc.com/weekly-menu.

Comet Ping Ping (cometpingpong.com) will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Soapstone Market (soapstonemarket.com) also has a special menu – and special holiday hours. It’s open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Christmas Eve, closed on Christmas Day, open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. New Years Eve. Then it’s back to normal on New Year’s Day – open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Bread Furst (breadfurst.com) will open Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Usually closed Sundays, Acacia Bistro will open on New Year’s Eve to serve a $65/person prix fixe menu. See acaciabistro.com/Catering.
