Dine out for Hearst this Tuesday

November 17, 2014

Instead of wondering what you’re going to make for dinner this Tuesday, why not dine out and help a local school at the same time?

Hearst_Owl_Header_Rebuild2On Tuesday, November 18th from 5 to 9 p.m., Hearst Elementary is having a fundraiser at the Nando’s restaurant in Tenleytown, 4231 Wisconsin Avenue at Veazey Street. Forty percent of the proceeds go to the school.

Hearst is a public elementary school the serves children in Forest Hills and North Cleveland Park. It is located at 37th and Tilden.

The specialty at Nando’s is roasted chicken marinated in a Peri-Peri or (African Bird’s Eye chili pepper) sauce.

So make an evening of it. Have an early dinner at Nando’s and then head over to the 7:30 p.m. ANC 3F meeting to see the Travis Price-designed Van Ness hub reveal.
