Final Playground Design Is Set

A few updates on the redesign and renovation of our playground, from the president of the Friends of Forest Hills Playground, Alexandra Chalupa:

Final Concept Design Available: After holding a series of community meetings starting last fall, DPR has produced the final design concept plans for our new playground. This updated design reflects the feedback DPR received at our last community outreach meeting, held on September 12th. The renovation, which is expected to take 2-4 months, will begin in early spring 2014 since it was too late to start this fall. In the meantime, our playground will remain open and will be enjoyed as long as weather permits.
