For your holiday shopping needs: Van Ness Made in DC Pop Up Shop dates, times and vendors

Van Ness Main Street’s Made in DC Pop-Up Shop returns for the 2017 holiday season with more vendors, more entertainment and more time to browse and do your shopping.

Now spanning four weekends, the indoor marketplace at 4340 Connecticut Avenue will feature a rotating assortment of local makers selling art, jewelry and accessories such as scarves and bags, fiber art and handmade clothes, home decor and packaged food.

The first Pop-Up Shop will be on Small Business Saturday, November 25th, from noon to 5 p.m. and will feature these vendors:

Lil’ Fishy | Gaylia Wagner Design | Happy Healthy Human | DC Glass Artists | PinUp Preserves | Zeke’s Coffee | Godet Furniture | AromabyAnette | Latela Art Gallery B.A. Superhero | Art by Rosetta | Bailiwick Clothing Company

The Made In DC Pop-Up Shop will also feature live music and other entertainment. On November 25th, guitarist Rick Peralta and singer Renée Tannenbaum will perform.

The handmade marketplace, hosted in a University of the District of Columbia-owned space, is a collaboration with Van Ness Main Street and UDC.

Here’s the schedule, hours and entertainment (some still tentative as we write this):

Saturday, November 25, noon to 5 p.m.: Small Business Saturday Preview

Friday, December 1, 4 to 8 p.m. (UDC Law School Happy Hour and live band)
Saturday, December 2, noon to 5 p.m. (Pet Santa w/photographer – tentative)
Sunday, December 3, noon to 5 p.m.

Friday, December 8, 4 to 8 p.m. (Happy Hour w/ musician or duo)
Saturday, December 9, noon to 5 p.m.
December 10, noon to 5 p.m. (Santa Claus visits)

Friday, December 15, 4 to 8 p.m. (Happy Hour w/ musician or duo)
Saturday, December 16, noon to 5 p.m. (Men’s choir)
Sunday, December 17, noon to 5 p.m. (Closing ceremony)
