Have they changed this sign at Broad Branch and Nevada?

As we reported Sunday, cold weather has delayed the reopening of the Beach Drive segment between Broad Branch Road and Tilden Street.

However, on Monday, the scheduled reopening day, this sign was still flashing at Broad Branch and Nevada.

I called the Park Service to ask about it and was told I was about the 15th caller to complain about the sign.

The new reopening day, weather permitting, is this coming Monday, January 15th. The closed section of Broad Branch between Brandywine and Beach Drive is also to reopen that day.
