Hearst Park public pool meeting this Thursday, Sept. 8

We use the traditional last day of summer to remind you of a meeting coming up that could change how you spend DC summers in years to come.

The DC Department of Parks and Recreation and the Department of General Services are hosting another public meeting on potential concepts for the park and pool design. The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 8 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Chevy Chase Community Center (5601 Connecticut Avenue).

At the previous meeting in June, DPR and DPS collected feedback from participants about what they did and did not want on the site. You’ll find project updates throughout the process at dgs.dc.gov.
