How Can DDOT Help You Get There?

February 4, 2014

MoveDC, DDOT’s effort to form a long-term transportation plan, is moving into the last leg of its journey. Its advisory board, made up of DC residents, is meeting about the plan next week. And the public is encouraged to participate.

The last Transportation Plan Advisory Committee meeting was postponed due to snow in January. Monday, February 10th is the new date.

MoveDC is also seeking more information on your transportation needs and how it can address them. Links to more information can be found in the announcement:

Please plan to join us for this upcoming TPAC meeting where we will talk about the performance evaluation of the moveDC plan transportation networks and plan finance and costs. TPAC meetings are open to the public. We encourage you to attend and participate.

When: Monday, February 10, 2014
             6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Where: Frank D. Reeves Municipal Center (District- or state-issued ID is required to pass through security)
2000 14th Street NW (2nd floor public meeting room)
             Washington, DC 20009

The TPAC is made up of District residents from each Ward who are active in transportation-related issues and other civic endeavors and is charged with acting in an advisory role to the moveDC project team throughout the plan development process.  moveDC is a collaborative planning effort, led by DDOT’s Policy, Planning and Sustainability Administration (PPSA), to develop a Multimodal Long Range Transportation Plan for the District of Columbia.
