How the rebuilt Linnean Playground stream handles a deluge

Quite well, as it turns out.

During the deluge on August 12th, we got four inches of rain over a few hours. The Linnean Playground stream, rebuilt to slow the flow of stormwater and cleanse the water of pollution, is doing its job. Keith Pivonski of Underwood and Associates, the contractor handling the Linnean and Broad Branch stream restoration projects, captured it on video. – Marlene Berlin
