I confess I am out of touch with local crime, even though I live right in the corridor you mentioned.
Is there a recent news story that gives statistics on local crime trends? I recall some years ago attending an ANC meeting where MPD gave a crime report. It appears those reports were either discontinued or not included in the ANC’s minutes (I skimmed the minutes of ANC3F’s three most recent meetings).

Here’s an additional tidbit from a Cheh aide: “MPD, MTPD, DHS, and DCHA will all be present. Everyone is welcome to attend, share their experiences, and ask questions.”
