The holidays are almost here! Get in the spirit of the season with holiday caroling on Connecticut Avenue next Thursday, December 18th from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Enjoy the beautiful voices of area choral groups, including St. John’s College High School and their “Vocal Resonance,” led by music director Kate Fernandez. A group from the University of Maryland Chamber Singers will also be singing.

This is a sing-along for all ages! We will begin at the Van Ness Giant, then stroll down to Calvert Woodley, Bread Furst and Acacia Bistro. Do some shopping, or enjoy refreshments, while you’re at it. This is the second performance in the new “Music at Van Ness” series sponsored by the Van Ness Vision Committee of ANC 3F. The first “Music at Van Ness” event was a fabulous jazz concert at Acacia Bistro on November 13th.

The Van Ness Vision Committee is a group of volunteers organized under the auspices of ANC 3F who are dedicated to making Van Ness more beautiful and more vibrant.

Forest Hills Connection is produced by volunteers, and supported by you. We appreciate your support – financial and otherwise. Here’s how to donate.
