Forest Hills July 28 “Picnic in the Park” concert features Americana/pop duo Naked Blue

July 13, 2018 by FHC

From our friends at Friends of Forest Hills Playground:

Friends of Forest Hills Playground and the Erich Cabe Team will bring you another free, fun, all-ages concert on Saturday, July 28th at the Forest Hills Park amphitheater (3200 block of Brandywine Street, by the tennis courts). This time we’re bringing you a duo who has shared the stage with Joe Cocker, John Mayer and Aimee Mann, among others: Naked Blue.

Get there around 5 p.m. to grab the perfect spot and buy pizza from the Armand’s food truck. The music starts at 5:30 p.m., and the show will wrap up by 7 p.m.

This concert is sponsored by DC Metro Area Living, Erich Cabe Real Estate Agent. The Erich Cabe Team also donated coffee, water and labor to our Earth Day weekend playground cleanup in April and sponsored Crush Funk Brass in June.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for weather alerts and other updates.

We need volunteers!

Can you:

– Distribute posters ahead of the show?
– Spend a few minutes helping with setup, cleanup and other brief tasks on the day of?
– Help plan and promote upcoming performances and events (August 25 concert at the park, Halloween)?
– Or spend less than 10 seconds sharing this with friends on social media?

One reason we are trying Saturday concerts this year is we need more hands to put on these community events! Even 30 minutes would make an enormous difference. Please email [email protected].
