“Let’s Choose” Informs About At-Large Choices

February 4, 2013

let's choose DC

With 8 candidates running for DC Council Chairman Phil Mendelson’s former at-large seat, it may seem difficult to choose one. But Let’s Choose DC aims to make it easier to learn about where they stand on the issues that matter most to you.

The January 23rd deadline for candidacy petitions narrowed the field to Anita Bonds, Michael A. Brown, Matthew Frumin, Patrick Mara, Perry Redd, John Settles II, Elissa Silverman, and Paul Zukerberg.

Let’s Choose is presenting each candidate with one question per week and posting their responses. Visitors to the site can then vote on what they consider the best response. This process will continue until the at-large election on April 23rd.

The site is the brainchild of David Alpert, the founder of the Greater Greater Washington blog, and it’s supported by other popular local blogs, PoPville and DCist.

So get informed – and don’t forget to vote!
