On Friday, Little Red Fox (5035 Connecticut) revealed via Twitter that it had passed its DC health inspection. So it was only a matter of time before the next big news – its opening date. That’s tomorrow: Tuesday, November 26th.
Little Red Fox will be open at 7:30 a.m., so the proprietors are inviting people to stop in to pick up breakfast. And also lunch. And prepared meals for a take-out dinner. And turkeys for the Thanksgiving table.
By the way, Little Red Fox is exactly the type of place many of our readers would like to see about 10 blocks to the south. Our Van Ness retail survey found a lot of people are hungry for specialty grocery/cafe/carry-out stores. We’re sorting through more than 600 responses, and hope to have the results to you soon.
