Mark your calendar: Community meetings Feb 5 and 6 with DDOT and UDC

Wednesday, February 5th at 7 p.m.: ANC 3F Commissioners Amy Rofman (3F01) and Claudette David (3F04) are jointly hosting a community meeting with DDOT. Register at bit.ly/smdevent for the Zoom link.

The discussion will include Reno Road and Connecticut Avenue issues, the need for more school crossing guards (far more demand than supply, says Commissioner David), and any other vehicle and pedestrian safety issues the community wishes to raise with DDOT or the commissioners.

Thursday, February 6th at 6:30 p.m.: The UDC Campus Community Task Force meets. All are welcome. The agenda includes updates on the DC Archives project and UDC-owned retail spaces. UDC is the landlord for the MOM’s Organic Market, The Whale Tea, and Dog Haus – all incoming businesses, and all (we hope) opening in the coming weeks and months.
