Mayor Gray to kick-off Forest Hills playground Halloween party Sunday

At this year’s Halloween party, even Forest Hills playground is showing off a new costume.

The playground reopened recently after a summer-long transformation. Mayor Vincent Gray will make it official with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this Sunday, October 26th at 10 a.m. And then, for the next two hours, it’s party time.

Friends of Forest Hills Playground’s annual fundraiser includes a performance of the “Witchie Witch Comedy Circus Show,” arts and crafts and games for the little ones, and a bake sale and coffee.

The Halloween party depends on volunteers to help out with setup, cleanup, the bake sale, craft table and t-shirt sales. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Sign up here.
